We built StudioLedger because nobody else would.
Here's the thing-
I spent years working as a commercial photographer and wrestling with software that was never built for the way I actually worked. Commercial photography is different: different clients, different deliverables, different money, different headaches.
So I duct-taped workflows together. One platform for invoicing, another for galleries, and another for delivery. Too many subscriptions. Too many features designed for consumer and portrait shooters. Too many “almosts.” And still no system that actually fit.
That’s why we built StudioLedger.
It is built on a simple belief: commercial photographers should not have to contort their business to fit a workflow that was never designed for us. Your process is your advantage. StudioLedger should support it, not shove every studio into the same box.
We stay intentionally small because speed matters. When a user needs something, we can ship it. When a workflow breaks, we fix it. When the industry shifts, we move with it.
Every feature comes from real conversations with working photographers solving real problems. If StudioLedger does not do something you need, tell me. Seriously.
We’re not done. Not even close.

Still have questions?
Here are the questions we hear most. Or you can always ask a real person.
YES! Cost sharing divides responsibility among multiple parties without breaking one production into disconnected jobs.
YES! Clients get clear links for reviewing the scope, approving it, and completing the next payment step.
YES! Call sheets pull from the connected production and give the crew one current place for timing, locations, contacts, and notes.
YES! Selections, comments, and visual annotations stay beside the exact images they refer to.
YES! Usage terms, expiration dates, and renewal history stay connected to the image and the client who licensed it.
YES! Large-file delivery lives in the same client workflow, with resumable uploads and client-ready download links.
YES! Crew Finder searches commercial production profiles by the role and location the job actually needs.
YES! You can change your billing schedule. A move from monthly to annual is prorated, while a move from annual to monthly takes effect when the current annual term ends.
YES! Additional workspaces are 50% off the regular price. Each one stays completely separate with its own clients, projects, storage, and team members.
YES! You can add up to five team members to each workspace and set permissions for each. Only the workspace owner pays.
